Jensen knows his character-and supernatural is NOT the place for political correctness or to make a statement. Its a darn show. Its a show where 2 hereosexual brothers fight monsters. Its not about some fantasy some fans implant on an actor. So grow up Molly-The show is what it is. Its your fault you listened to Misha Collins BS all these years not realizing he was playing you along.

Molly-look who is being intolerant now?? I think it is you and people like you. Jensen is NOT intolerant to any group of people. But he KNOWS his character. Dean is not n-never was gay/bi-that was all in some peoples head because Misha Collins put that thought in their heads. If you want to be po’d at anybody-blame Misha for playing you along.

Look, Molly, I’m a lesbian and I get where you’re coming from. My partner absolutely refuses to watch the show anymore and she was really into it and the whole Dean/Castiel thing for a while. My belief is that, yeah, Jensen is a Republican who’s not that into supporting gays or anything else that most gays support b/c most gays (and I said “most,” not “all”) are Dems. But by watching the show I don’t really put any $ in his hand or affect anything, really, in any substantive way. If he were a movie actor I wouldn’t pay to see him on screen, but he’s not so I’m cool with enjoying the show. I’m just not going to let him, or any other public figure, take away my enjoyment of something.

i still torrent spn sometimes but i don’t watch it like i use to. one of the actors (and we all know who) has said some stuff that leave little doubt what his views on equality are. i don’t completely agree with Purple Ox, but I get where she’s coming from: a lot of the fandom are willing to turn a blind eye to just about anything.
