In reply to Chris11. I have been a fan since season one. Cas is actually the most interesting character in Supernatural to me, as it is HE who has grown the most, when it comes to the characters, whether it's angel Cas, crazy Cas, God Cas, and now human Cas. I love Sam and Dean, but Sam has almost continuously been stuck in the victim role (he's always in trouble; dying; ill) and Dean has almost continuously been stuck in the caretaker (for Sam) role. I am truly looking forward to season nine in hope that Cas continues to grow as a character and in the hope that Dean and Sam are finally able to break free of the endless cycle of 'same-old/same-old.'

Your right a larger separate story line for Cas does make it easier to fast forward over. In all seriousness, I am sooo hoping that they overhaul the Cas character this season. If he is staying (seemingly forever) I need some range in the performance.. Hopefully human Cas gives me that. Still the best show on TV!
