I thought this episode was really lame. They build up this story line over several seasons just to end like this?? I wanted something more dramatic to kiss this story line goodbye once and for all to make all those Pelant episodes worth it. There was no final autopsy scene to prove that he was actually dead…. If they bring him back AGAIN, the show jumps the shark in my opinion. I’m annoyed either way. The character was strung out far too long to end in a fizzle…..or to be resurrected yet again. Color me disappointed.

I think we will see Pelant again. He was wearing a vest with fake blood. Why didn’t Booth check for a pulse and shoot him in the head to make sure he was dead instead of standing from afar and proclaiming he’s dead.

I don’t think he is really dead. The ‘body’ will likely be gon when they return.

Very lame way to kill him off. However, that serial killer Pelant alerted Brennan to is likely going to come in and be even worse than he was.
