I really like Chris Colfer’s voice for songs. I think he makes excellent versions for a particular genre namely classical or such. I will for sure buy his CD if he is to make one…! Love you, Love Chris! :)

I would love for Chris Colfer to do an album, since my favorite Glee songs are ones that Colfer sings, either solo, duet or is featured in an ensemble. That being said, I know that his voice is not a conventionally accepted one (but it makes ME happy every time I hear it-), so I understand his reluctance. Perhaps he might consider a compromise of some iTunes single releases, as an initial foray?
By the way, Colfer’s 3rd book, The Land of Stories: The Enchantress Returns is being released on August 6th. His 2nd book, Struck By Lightning: The Carson Phillips Journal, is not a novelization per se, but is a companion book that is wonderful in and of itself. Despite the language (which took me aback), the book’s biting, acerbic humor had me laughing and chuckling through the first part, then the emotional roller coaster started, passing through anger to grief. I could not put the book down and finished it emotionally drained, but more determined than ever to follow my own dreams and goals – even little ones. To me, the bottom line message was that it took a force of nature to stop Carson from achieving his goals.
For those interested in Colfer’s voice, The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell audio book, has a wonderful mix of character voices, all done by Colfer. Even the magical Harp, whose spoken voice is hilarious (sort of Mae West). I’ll keep hoping for an album-!
