If this spinoff doesn’t work like the last one we may be able to close the door on it much easier. Having 5 monster families running Chicago is a pretty big loose thread to leave hanging. Just sayin….

Well said. I couldn’t agree with you more. And I resent that WS is being shoved down my throat. Of course I will watch 13.10 because at the end of day it’s an episode of SPN. I hope TPTB understand that just because I (and many other SPN fans) will begrudgingly watch 13.10, that in no way consitiues any interest in the spin off. I have zero interest in the spin off. And don’t get me started on the ridiculous premise of WS. Based on what we’ve seen, I don’t think that Claire or any of the other “sisters” can manage their way out of a paper bag, much less manage to kill a Supernatural creature. Just last season Claire got her sorry self bit by a werewolf due to her own stupidity – good thing Sam and Dean were there to rescue her. The entire premise of this potential spin off lacks credibility and completely undermines the origin story of the Winchesters and their sacrifices. I mean, if any disenfranchised teen girl can become a seasoned hunter overnight, then what makes Sam and Dean so special?

I don’t want to see any more time devoted to the spinoff at all. I have zero interest in it or in any of the characters. Jody was very enjoyable as a recurring character who would occasionally appear to help the brothers with a case. But as den mother to a gaggle of teen girls, none of whom hold any interest for me, she has become a bore. But at least she is a decent actress. Claire is one of the most annoying and unlikable characters I’ve ever seen, and every episode that has featured her has put me in a quandary- do I suffer through it so I can see what happens to the brothers? KN might be a fine actress in other roles, but she has made Claire a supremely grating, almost hateful character, by playing her with no nuance, as a rude, completely self-centered, smart-mouth teen. Donna has been a mixed bag. I’ve liked her in a couple of episodes, but found her to be quite grating in the others. Both Patience and the actress who play her are dull beyond belief. It’s too soon to tell about Kaia. She is a better actress than the Patience actress, but the character seems too close to that of Claire- a damaged, sassy teen. There is no way I will ever tune into an episode of this show, other than grudgingly watching the spinoff episode.
