Very surprised that Outlander and Sam Heughan did not get a nod along with Kit Harrington. Great to see Catriona Balfe recognized (so they do know about Outlander).

Completely agree with both Outlander / Sam Heughan, and The Leftovers / Justin Theroux.
Seems that both of these shows keep getting the female leads recognised, but not the male! As Caitriona Balfe tweeted back to Sam Heughan, it IS a team effort.
And I was really hoping for The Leftovers too, since it’s now over with.

Well…there is a lot of meaty Jamie’s stuff once he basically becomes the leader of Scots on the Ridge.
Sam and Caitriona will have to share a screentime with Sophie and Rik a lot though.

Get sick of GOT walking away with awards year after year…I don’t watch the show, but I doubt it is that good. Downton Abbey the same. That I did watch and loved it, but didn’t think it was better than Outlander. I hate award shows and the endless thanking everyone but the dog; I won’t watch either. This was such a strong season for Sam; I doubt he will be showcased that strongly as we go forward if it follows the books.

Sam Heughan is a marvelous actor, not just a gorgeous face. It’s so sad that he is overlooked. Outlander is such a great show with so many elements, actors, history, costumes and scenery. Caitriona Balfe is very deserving, and I’m thrilled she was recognized. As I see it Cait and Sam are a team.

Blatant omission of a wonderful star, Sam Heughan. What a shame the people on the Critics Choice voting board are too stupid to realize that and give Sam a nod. Makes you wonder about these “award” shows. I vote their for crap!

Sam Heughan was Brilliant and Amazing in all 3 seasons. He had me in the floor crying in Lost Things I think it was episode 4 and the very first episode was Magnificent. I think this Award shows are Fixed. I am very Happy for Caitriona. She should have won last year. I just don’t get why they snubbed Sam Heughan or Kit Harrington!! I won’t be watching.
