I can’t agree with you more. It is time for these characters and their relationship to mature. There is enough drama is just doing their jobs, and I really hope the writers will avoid the cheap relationship drama that has plagued so many other shows.

I hope TPTB keep the mama drama to a minimum. And if the showrunners try to break them up they will lose fans. I am so tired of drama just for the sake of drama.

This show is a little like Castle and all the ups and downs between Rick and Kate, but the love for each other never failed,never gave up and never ran out on each other. I can just hope that the show runners of NCIS LA are smart enough to figure that out. Yesterdays door on Castle is closed so we do not get to watch new episodes of Rick and Kate any more, in large part because the two show runners in season 8 of Castle were not.
