She has to wrestle with the notion that her child may never know his true father, and that is very much painful.

Why on earth would Elizabeth wrestle with the notion that Valentine may never know Ross? Why on earth would she want Ross six feet near their son, after he had been conceived in an act of rape. Yeah. it was rape, no matter how Debbie Horsfield tried to paint it. What on earth is that woman doing to this Winston Graham’s story. She’s now changing it even more than the 1970s producers did.
