A 6 or 7 episode season maybe during January like Agent Carter this year if they do it well and bring back a few favorite actors would be great. See were they moved onto (or flash backs as some are “dead”) December & January tend to be a down time for big shows why not start piloting a short season with Internet content makers and new show ideas if the are hit they can be green lighted for a summer run if not only a few shows down. Reruns aren’t what they used to be. 10 15 years ago you might watch a show during reruns that you missed the 1st time around and pick it up for the rest of the season, now I dvr what I want to see or stream what I misss. Odds are I’m more likely to switch off the tv for the Web if I only find reruns. The big question is will I come back in February?

While I still enjoy many of the characters on NCIS, the use of formulaic writing, lack of imagination and recycled plots, and the constant emphasis on either mostly Gibbs, and if not Gibbs, McGee, for any and all exciting or significant stories and big drama has me bored and disappointed. As a fan of Tony this year has been a great big yawner and the finale looks to be yet another in a long long line of Gibbs angst stories. I just don't care anymore. I've seen this too many times and it wasn't that riveting the first 50 times. I want to see other interesting characters besides Gibbs and McGee doing something exciting or significant for a change. These two are so over exposed and over used I'm just bored with them at this point. Another emotional Gibbs in danger angst fest? No thanks.

I think NCIS’s renewal was a given being that they hadn’t announced that Season 12 was the final season but still think Season 13 will be the last for this show. Tomorrow is the season finale and there is no buzz anywhere about NCIS as there has been in seasons past not even on it’s own Facebook page. Dorneget’s death wasn’t a shock and though the subject matter is disturbing and believable (kid terrorists) I don’t feel that sense of urgency to watch the finale. More excited for the NCIS NOLA season finale. On a different note, I am glad they renewed Elementary and Hawaii Five O.
