I would like to see some drama between all the inlaws, and perhaps another visit from Cora’s mother (although I don’t like the casting of Shirley McLean for this part –or she needs to have a more refined character.) I want to see Cora mad at something! I want to see Edith take over the printing business in London and become quite famous as a businesswoman. I want to see Daisy spend more time at the farm and maybe the father of her late husband becomes ill, so she needs to take over….gets some confidence. I would like to see Barrow find love (but not at Downton, so he isn’t so nervous and can enjoy his life). I want to see Tom come back with a beautiful and lovely wife (not Sarah). I want Isobel to dump Dr. Clarkson until he comes back humbly having put his boys in their place. I think Mary needs to do some reflecting for a couple of episodes. This new guy has her intrigued, but he’s not interested in her (yet). She needs to have something happen (robbed at the train station or serious illness that turns out ok, drunk at the dinner table and does something stupid or something that gives us pause! Love this show!
