I can’t remember the scene, but I know she has supported him before. She does push back when Jason gets angry with her because she knows he won’t hit her, so she doesn’t back off the way that she does with the other two. That’s TRUST and FAITH and it says something truly positive about their relationship. She knows she can argue with him without things getting out of control. Nicole has done an impressive job of not getting caught up in the moment, but what Jason said to her was hurtful and he’s done that before. The other two guys did not personally attack her in the way that Jason did and even that’s ok because only family knows how to cut you where it truly hurts and you forgive them because you love them.
