Curlee won’t horrible song choice last night

Jaycob Curlee as #1 and Andrey Moraru as #9, are you kidding me??!!?? Were we watching the same show???? I like Jaycob’s voice, but his Tuesday’s performance was BORING!!! So he sat on a stool and sang a nice song. BIG DEAL!!!! And his sob story…blah, blah, blah. He needs to get over it. We all have had our own set of personal challenges to deal with. I thought Andrey was amazing and one of my top three picks from Tuesday.

Based on their original audition, I think Acte II is incredibly talented, but this was not a great night (or song choice) for them. Still I cast my votes their way, hoping they’ll go back to singing actual opera in the next round. I am hoping they, Aerial Animation, and Andrey Moraru get through. The dancers and pop singers seemed generic to me and would never make it to the live rounds, IMO at least, on the “big” dance specific and/or singing specific reality shows out there. (I.e. So You Think You Can Dance, The Voice, and American Idol). I also am not a fan of sob stories being more of a deciding factor than the actual talent. As for Juan Carlos, I’m amazed that Stern is the only judge who sees how ludicrous it is that he is still there.

Don’t really find Acte II and Curlee that talented, but there is no question they will make it through.

Aerial Animation has a high chance of being the wow factor of tonight and I think she is a lock for third.

The fourth and fifth spot is harder to predict. I think Hart Dance Team showed only a fraction of what they can do in their audition, just enough to impress the judges. The team has the most potential to step it up and I think and hope they do. Don’t sleep on them Matt!

Last week showed America’s soft spot for comedians and magicians. Williamson last season proved awkward humor works with AGT audiences. Santos will grab the fifth spot over Franco.

Who will: Act II, Curlee, Aerial Animation, Hart Dance Team, and Santos.

Who Should (based on previous weeks): Aerial Animation, Hart Dance Team, Loop Rawlins, Mara Justine, Santos.
