The Vampire Lestat season 3 episode 2 trailer: A Louis face-off
With The Vampire Lestat season 1 episode 2 coming to AMC this weekend, there is no better time to set the stage! So what more do we know about the next chapter?
Well, for starters, it does appear as though the writers are coming up with as many cool ways as possible to incorporate Jacob Anderson as Louis. While this season is largely the story of the Lestat character, you do still get updates on everyone else — and there is no mistaking the fact that Louis is one of the most important people within his entire existence. He is a motivator, and we tend to think the release of the Interview with a Vampire book is what pushes him to do whatever he can to try and reclaim a specific narrative.

If you head over to the link here now, you can see a larger preview for what is ahead, one that does give us a good sense of a handful of different things. For starters, Louis and Lestat are going to square off in what looks to be some sort of mediation / back-in-forth setting. Meanwhile, Gabriella is not going anywhere fast. Lestat’s mother turning up is sure to ruffle feathers for a lot of reasons, but we should also learn more about this relationship … however complicated that may be.
Beyond all of that, rest assured that there will be more music and plenty of it. This has been a huge foundation for the entire season so far, so why make any presumption that this is about to change? It is really one of Lestat’s better ways to communicate.
