For one thing, I don’t agree w/you about ‘not caring’ about another singing competition. That’s the biggest draw to me where Glee is concerned. Watching them sing (& my singing along) is almost always the best part of Glee (w/a few exception; that gingham thing @ regionals was stupid I thought & I wasn’t real happy w/that song they sung @ Nationals 2 seasons ago, some song by Meatloaf?), but w/very few exceptions them singing is always fun. Their enthusiasm is infectious. I’m definitely looking forward to Blaine, Sam & hopefully Arty moving to NY, but I’m starting to get sad at the prospect of no longer seeing Ryder, Kitty etal back at high school with Mr. Shue, Coach Slyvester, Coach B & even Figgins. I’m finally caring about their characters & would hate to see them phased out. But I’m still hoping to see Blaine & Elliot singing, what amazing voices they both have. I think it would be phenomenonal. I love Kurts character, but lets face it, his singing is not his strongest talent. He has a pleasant voice & Glee’s version yrs ago of Kurt singing I Want To Hold Your Hand after his dad had a heart attact, was incredible, but I haven’t & won’t be running out & buying songs on itunes that “Kurt” is singing like I do w/songs in which Blaine, Rachel & now Elliot is singing leads in (I’m still blown away w/”Elliots” rendition of Marry the Night. And I’m still playing that song on my I tunes every day & re-watching his performance if it from the ‘Katy vs Gaga’ episode every few days, he’s electric). So if it’s competing or just singing for fun, keep it coming I say, that’s what Glee is all about anyway, isn’t it?
