After two days of thoughtful deliberation, it looks as though the jury is ready to announce their verdict in the case of Conrad Murray.
It was announced Monday that the jury had in fact reached a decision, and it will be read later this afternoon. Stay tuned, as we will have more updates as soon as they are available. If found guilty, Murray could spend several years behind bars for involuntary manslaughter over the passing of Michael Jackson on June 25, 2009. Murray was Jackson’s personal physician, and the key issue in this case is whether or not he injected the singer with a lethal dose of propofol — a medication that is not intended for home use.
