I don’t know how much I strongly believe this could happen BUT I think there’s a chance that Jax used Conner just as a pawn and a go between to get the Kings to fully sign off on the Irish pipeline going to August Marx. Once the details and plans are set in stone I think Jax will somehow give up Conner to Patterson to cement the deal to keep the club and Tara out of trouble. Once Conner has all the specifics in place he’s nothing more than a middle man between August and the kings so if August gets locked up for everything Patterson wants than the kings would just simply send another IRA member over here to keep business flowing between themselves and the kings. As for the Tara situation I do think she will reach out to Jax or possibly Unser and once Jax tells Tara there’s a deal pending that could get everyone out of trouble she will come back to Charming, not to say that it’ll be happily ever after or she won’t be looking for a different way to get out but I think once she makes her final move it will be either with Jax OR with Jax’s blessing and terms.
