Sometimes, the headlines of reality shows aren’t always the people who do the best — it sometimes involves the people who are the worst.
On Saturday night’s edition of “The X Factor,” we definitely saw Frankie Cocozza fall into the latter category. He completely ruined the Black Eyed Peas’ hit “I Gotta Feeling,” and Gary Barlow openly apologized to him afterwards for picking the song. Nothing worked — but the performance actually did make us feel bad for the guy. Louis Walsh ripped him a new one for still being in the competition, and the audience openly booed him — the first time that has happened all season.
Should Frankie stay in the competition? No, but after seeing him get attacked in a way that no one frankly deserves on a show like this, we actually hope he ends up quitting — if for no other reason than that he doesn’t have to surround himself with that much negativity again. For all the tabloids rumors out there Frankie has insecurities, and they are going to come through even more if he continues.
What do you think about the audience’s treatment of Frankie?
