Lily Collins’ Snow White project now has a name — ‘Mirror Mirror’

If you have been wondering as of late what Relativity Media was going to call their upcoming adaptation of “Snow White,” we now have an official answer for you — “Mirror Mirror.” The Lily Collins and Julia Roberts-led project is going for a name that tends to actually reference the Evil Queen more than the actual heroine, which actually makes some sense when you consider the star power.
This film has a March 16, 2012 release — which puts it a few months ahead of Universal’s “Snow White and the Huntsman” project featuring Kristen Stewart as a completely different version of the fairy-tale character. The two films were at one point in a battle to see which movie would hit theaters faster, and “Mirror” ultimately ended up succeeding. Now, the real question is if it will be a strong enough of a film to become a massive hit in March — which has produced a few smashes in the past such as the live-action “Alice in Wonderland.”)
