Mrs Carter: The honeymoon stage of the engagement is still in full effect for Hilary Scott and Chris Tyrrell
‘Lady Antebellum’ singer Hillary Scott may be part of one of the biggest bands in the world, but don’t expect her band mates to be performing at her wedding.
Scott tells Redbook magazine that she wants to make sure that the members of her band have the day off when it comes to her upcoming nuptials to Chris Tyrrell and wants them to just sit back and enjoy the party. She said;
“I’m not asking them to sing or play an instrument. I’m not putting anybody I love to work on my wedding day. I even told our band and crew that I know it’s a weekend off that we would normally have, so if they want to take a vacation and not come, they’re not going to hurt my feelings.”
Since meeting Tyrrell and becoming engaged, Hillary says that everything in her life has changed for the better. Scott explains;
“Everything is brighter. Everything has a deeper meaning. I’ve found a guy who truly embraces me for who I am and appreciates the things that I don’t necessarily love about myself. He makes me feel more comfortable in my own skin. If I’m stressed, he’ll be like, ‘Just breathe with me.’ “
