Mrs. Carter: “The Bachelor” is spanning the country again … though this time for bachelor and bachelorette parties.
On January 26, you are going to have an opportunity to see Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici make the move to get married during what has to be considered a pretty landmark TV event. There are not very many people over the years who have had the guts to get married with cameras watching for a major network, let alone ones who decided to do so live. This is something completely new to the franchise, and it’s going to make for quite the dramatic event … even if everything goes according to plan. (But, think about it for a minute here: How often does that really happen, especially at a wedding?)
Are the couples going to be showing off some of their bachelor and bachelorette parties on this special? While it certainly would not be a big part of it, and nothing is confirmed, we at least know where the two are going to be heading. According to report from E! News, the plan for Sean is to have some sort of relaxing cabin event in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with some of his close friends and in-laws. Meanwhile, Catherine is opting to potentially go to a much sunnier locale like Miami, where there could be some fun time relaxing on the beach and enjoying some of the nightlife. With these two being pretty conservative, we don’t see a “Hangover” or “Bridesmaids” situation happening here for either one of them.
Nonetheless, there is probably more attention on them now than any other “Bachelor” couple ever leading up to their big wedding. Sean will be the first leading man from the show to really get to this stage, and with Juan Pablo Galavis’ season (which also, like Sean’s, seems to have plenty of shirtlessness on the way) on the air, the ratings could spike to another level.
Of course, we are going to have more scoop on this big day at every twist and turn, so be sure to check back soon for more on that subject.
