‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2, episode 9 preview: A new shocker for Kristin Kreuk’s Cat

The latest -So what comes next on “Beauty and the Beast”? That is a pretty worthy question, since Cat made some pretty big moves to shore up the remainder of her future in the fall finale. While she managed to get her father behind bars for some of the terrible things that he was doing, she realized in the process that there was not going to be that much she could do to stop Vincent anymore. She’d tried to control him and to keep some of his urges at bay for a long time, but they were only working to a certain degree. Having Tori around has just caused him to become completely unhinged.

While there may not be too much in the way of scoop out there about the show’s return in the new year just yet, we can at least tell you a few things:

1. The return date is Monday, January 13, which is the same exact day that “Hart of Dixie” will be returning to the schedule.

2. Vincent’s relationship with Cat is going to be in question … but so could Vincent’s life. There is one scene in the promo below that feels incredibly ominous in that capacity.

3. Could Kristin Kreuk’s character really leave her job at the force? There is a scene of someone turning in their gun and their badge, and there are not really a lot of other worthy candidates out there as to who could be the person doing it (especially when you hear her voice as narrator behind it).

Let’s just hope that with the new year also comes all of the same viewers who caught the new episodes this fall. This show in particular is not one that can really afford to lose a big chunk of viewers, especially when you consider that it’s already on the verge of cancellation.

If you missed it last night, our full review of Monday’s “Beauty and the Beast” episode can be found over at the link here. Even though the wait for new episodes is a long one, we’ll have more scoop every step of the way.
