As we are literally less than a day away from Wednesday’s new episode for “Survivor: South Pacific,” we now have some welcome news coming from the newest promo video — the tribes are officially merging!
For the first time since “Samoa,” we are getting to see some yellow buffs (though on that season they were for the pre-merge Foa Foa tribe), and we are also going to see either Ozzy or Christine likely re-enter the game unless they pull something crazy.
Ultimately, the suggestion here is that we are going to have an expected split right down the middle with Savaii vs. Upolu — even if Christine comes back, she is likely to side with the former tribe and make it six vs. six.
However, is one person going to disrupt this? It certainly seems possible. The editing team is working overtime to make us believe that Cochran could very well flip over to the other side — and if that happens, Upolu would have the edge until they start picking each other off. It’s really just unclear why he would do this unless he’s either petrified of drawing a purple rock, or he thinks he has found a division in Coach’s tribe that will give him the edge until late in the game.
What do you think is going to happen?
