Mrs Carter: Why is it when two Hollywood types meet up everyone assumes it’s romantic and not work related?
‘Twilight’ hunk Taylor Lautner is moving into the fabulous world of film producing and is on the hunt to find the perfect leading lady for an upcoming spy thriller. Lautner had a dinner meeting with ‘Glee’ star Dianna Agron at Gjelina’s restaurant in Venice Beach, California to discuss the project and an eye witness confirmed that the two only discussed business. They told Hollywood Life;
“They were talking about an upcoming project that Taylor is producing — some sort of spy thriller that doesn’t have a title yet.”
So why would media outlets think that these two are dating just because they shared some food and talked about a film project? We have no idea either, but clearly they want to try to link Lautner to someone – anyone! The source went on to make projections about Taylor and Dianna, saying;
“Even if they weren’t on an official date, they seem to have great chemistry. I think they would be amazing on screen together. Both Taylor and Dianna were in really good moods. They seemed really chatty and happy.”
Recently GQ Australia interviewed Lautner and asked if Gus Van Sant or Dustin Lance Black had hit on him during a business dinner as well. It seems that the media think that eating dinner means you’re dating, when really eating dinner just means you’re hungry. We are starting to wonder if Taylor grabbed a bite to eat with Betty White if everyone would think he is dating her.
Good chemistry does not equal dating and in Hollywood when you’re looking for the perfect leading lady, you’re looking for some sort of chemistry or the audience is likely going to be disappointed with the final product. Hundreds of actors and actresses have shared the screen, had good chemistry for their role and didn’t date and Lautner and Agron seem to be strictly business. A source close to Lautner confirmed that “They are just friends.”
