‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ actor books role

More news -In our mind, there are really two separate scoops to the following story, and both of them involve in some way CBS’ massive hit “NCIS.” First of all, we have the news about the latest actor joining the show in a guest role. And following that, we also have some news about when the show is going to be back following the holiday break.

Let’s begin with the scoop that William deVry, who is best known latest for his work on “Beauty and the Beast” as well as “General Hospital” and “The Bold and the Beautiful,” has signed on to appear in the episode of the show airing on Tuesday, January 7. This marks the day as the official return date for the show in 2014, which means that producers are not going to waste much time when it comes to bringing back new episodes.

Traditionally, what happens is that we get a couple of new episodes in January, and then followed up by a straight run of new ones in February. The reason for this move on the network’s part is two-fold; not only do they want to ensure that they get a lot of episodes on when it is too cold outside to do anything in some parts of America, but they also know that there is going to be a few weeks in March that are dominated by the NCAA Tournament, and the last thing that CBS wants to do is create a confusing schedule during that time so that viewers do not get frustrated. They already do a good enough job confusing people when it comes to what they have on Sunday night with NFL football and frequent overruns.

When you meet deVry’s character, Emily Wickersham will already be a series regular as Bishop. As a matter of fact, her first appearance on the show airs Tuesday night! Click here if you have not seen a promo for this appearance yet, and we will be back with some more news soon (including a longer sneak peek come Monday).
