Jeff Gutt’s vocals have been musically/technically flawless. He displays raw talent. He has a son whom he loves very much (not a daughter as stated above) and I do think the show has over dramatized his family situation. I think he is the dark horse to win it all. New rock (not more pop or country) is needed in today’s music industry.

carlito is an excellent singer, but something was not working on Thursday and his performance was a mess, so that hurt hhim a lot. I agree with you about Jeff Gutt being in the dangerous part of the show, but i think he will be axed before lillie, maybe even this week. I am not a fan of RR, and i don’t think they last too long, but I admit I liked their cover of “stay a little while” and Rachael won’t last long if she isn’t consistent. I think possible winners are SS, A&S, Khaya, who gave the best performances of both nights, and Rion, who proved she has what it takes last Thursday. Lillie might leave soon, unless she performs an uptempo song. anyways Jeff is at risk of leaving on Wed. because of not being interesting, Carlito because of performance, and Tim because of song choice.

I don’t really like Jeff or Carlos at all. Carlos is milking his story and Jeff is using the cuteness factor of his son to get votes. I think Khaya has an amazing voice but she tends to sing old fashioned songs that most aren’t familiar with.
