The documentary is coming!

When we first brought to you the news that Susan Boyle has been taping some sort of documentary special, there was still an air of mystery about it — mainly because at the time, we really didn’t have any idea as to where the special would end up airing here in North America.

Now, we have some good news on that very subject. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Susan Boyle: An Unlikely Superstar” is going to air on TLC — a network that loves to air specials featuring underdogs who become inspirations. The show will air Sunday, November 6 at 8:00 p.m. — just five days after her new album “Someone To Watch Over Me” debuts in stores.

As for what this special will contain, expect plenty of interviews with a number of people close to Susan — including her friends, family, and even her mentor in Simon Cowell. It will help to open the door on the singer’s personal life, and how she has managed to stay away from many of the trappings of fame by living in the same house she was in before her “Britain’s Got Talent” audition.

Of course, we will have more on this special as soon as it is available.
