And modeling or music would be a good fit for Sam. And not everyone goes to college after high school. Modeling would allow Sam to be part of two storylines if they keep Glee both in Ohio and NY for the rest of season 5 and for season 6. If the move the Glee to NY he would have a good reason for being in NY.
