Mrs. Carter: How is it that Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici manage to pull off “The Bachelor,” and manage to still come across as normal?
While this show tends to corrupt many people and turn them into fame mongers, we have to say that the official save-the-date card for the couple’s January 26 wedding, which will be aired live on ABC, is probably the opposite of almost anything you would expect to see from a pair of famous people. It doesn’t scream “look at our money,” and instead it makes you wonder how the two managed to get ride that bike while wearing two gigantic bear heads. It’s bizarre, funny, and above all extremely nerdy. Just click on the image above to see, or just read what part of the left-hand portion of it says:
“Lovers, friends, family and Jack Nicholson, please join Catherine Ligaya Mejia Giudici and Sean Thomas Lowe & Hologram Tupac for the wedding of the century…”
This feels almost in some way like the two were somehow playing the wedding version of Mad Libs, but these things probably hold some sort of great significant to the pair. Jack Nicholson is probably the last person who would turn up at the wedding, but maybe they can get the hologram of Tupac. No wedding is complete without it.
Sean and Catherine’s ceremony is expected to draw some good numbers for ABC, and we only think that this method of promotion is going to help in an attempt to convince the wary that there is a reason to tune in here beyond just seeing some sappy romance. These two are consistently hilarious online, and it gives you an idea that there was so much going on here behind the scenes of “The Bachelor” that was fun, which we probably saw cut just so that there could be a gratuitous shot of him in the slower. Anything to get Sean to take his shirt off… you know how this show rolls.
