Maksim Chmerkovskiy defends ‘Dancing with the Stars’ outburst

If you watched Monday night’s edition of “Dancing with the Stars,” then odds are you already know a thing or two about some of the controversial comments made by professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. After Hope Solo performed a routine that earned her a lower-than-expected score of 20 out of 30, Maks proclaimed to show co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet that this was “his” show, and that the judges were not dancing his partner evenly with some of the other people currently in the competition.
Following the shows, Maks did not change his tune at all in a post on his Twitter page:
“To @hopesolo , you truly ARE my star tonight! Loved our dance! Very proud of you! To everyone else, I WILL NEVER CHANGE! Love me or hate me!”
Thus far, reaction to Maks’ comments to the judges has been mixed. While some have suggested he was way over the line suggesting to Len Goodman that it was time for him to hang up his ballroom shoes, other have applauded him for addressing a problem they feel has been present all season — a double standard in the judging.
Whose side are you currently on?

But now is the time when the stars need to get to the nitty gritty and get serious. No more hokey pokeying around on the dance floor like some of them have been especially Chaz. Chaz needed to hear the truth and needs to man up. Len is a hard a$$ anyway and Maks is known for shooting his mouth off and he’s so cute when he does it too.

Maks was right. Sometimes the judges are just to mean!!! They were also really mean to
Chaz last night. There is no reason for them to be so rude. As a viewer I don’t enjoy the
way the judges were last night. You should judge you don’t have to be mean.Sometimes
the judges give helpful hints thats what they should do.
