On Monday morning, Ryan Seacrest officially revealed the next item that may have been on the Christmas list of many Justin Bieber fans — the singer’s long-awaited rendition of “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire).”
The song is the second single from Bieber’s upcoming “Under the Mistletoe” album, and it has a sound that sounds a bit like Boyz II Men if they first became popular today. Bieber’s voice blends well with his famous mentor Usher, and the song does just enough to separate itself from the millions of other versions of this song out there — though at the same time, it also manages to sound enough like the classic so that purists get what they desire.
The full album will be released on November 1, and is expected to big an enormous hit for the holiday season.
