Just wanted to add, since I didn’t catch it the first time, Glee is already contracted for next season and it’s been confirmed that it will be its last. Personally, I think Glee should be the one moving to Fridays.

As for X-Factor/Idol, if this season isn’t their last, I hope FOX decides to follow suit with SYTYCD & DWTS and sticks to one two-hour night on Thursday. The results show has always been pointless, IMO, with too much fluff when they can say the results within 5 minutes. They’d save on money for guest artists to perform and free up another night for new/existing shows.

Bones has been tying, if not beating Dancing with the Stars in recent weeks, so I don’t see DWTS as a problem. My problem is the disrespect FOX has treated Bones with. The network has moved the show to every single weeknight, including some time changes. It takes advantage of the fact that fans will follow it wherever it goes, so therefore chucks it wherever it’s convenient for the network at the time and thinks nothing of it. Sticking it on Fridays is the biggest slap in the face for the show and the fans – especially when it’s been holding its own in the ratings on Monday. A Friday move indicates to me that FOX doesn’t care if the show loses some viewers and isn’t in a prominent lineup anymore. Even though it’s one of the highest rated shows they have, it’s done its due for them so it doesn’t matter to them whether it succeeds or fails anymore.

I do think that the show will be renewed and I will continue to watch it wherever it goes. However, I will never be okay with the move to Friday – not until that night is as popular as it was in the early ’90s.
