‘The Dark Knight Rises’ prologue to reportedly accompany ‘Mission Impossible’

Is it coming early?

If you want to see some of “The Dark Knight Rises” in action early, it is looking like you are going to have to check out the newest installment in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise, as well.

According to multiple reports (which you can see here and here), the presumably final chapter in Christopher Nolan’s Batman saga is going to showcase a six-minute prologue during “Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol.” Fans of the series will know this is not exactly a new practice, as studio Warner Bros. previously opted to do this with “The Dark Knight,” as well. This strategy certainly seemed to pay off, as this movie ended up becoming the highest-grossing superhero film on record.

“Rises” is set to feature Bane (Tom Hardy) as a principal villain, and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) is also set to make an appearance.

Do you think this is yet another smart move for the studio to make?
