For the second time in three results shows on “The X Factor,” we had a situation Sunday night where the audience decided to take it upon themselves to boo an act.
Why did they do it this time? It was all because Frankie Cocozza was declared safe. The controversial teenager — who has spent just as much time partying as performing so far this season — managed to avoid the bottom two this week after nearly getting sent home the week before. The problem? He really was not significantly better this time, at least according to all of the judges not named Gary Barlow.
Ultimately, the bottom two this week consisted of Sami Brookes and Kitty Brucknell — two performers from Louis Walsh’s group that gave him a rather difficult decision. Ultimately, he ended up having to make the choice — and Sami was the one to leave the competition.
Did Frankie really deserve to be booed?
