Mrs. Carter: So what made Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici decide to be married on TV?
The star of “The Bachelor” is going to be marrying his fiancee, and the woman he picked on the show, on January 26 in a ceremony that is going to be carried out live on ABC. That is quite a big decision to make, especially when you consider that there are so many elements that go into such a massive wedding. You have getting the family together, decorations, booking the perfect reception, delicious food, photography and more. If you add the TV element, then you are also having to focus on making sure everything happens on time and that everyone in the audience is on their best behavior including that drunk uncle that always manages to embarrass everyone including himself throughout the night.
Based on what Sean said in a new interview with “Access Hollywood” on the subject of the wedding, it surprisingly still seems like he is not going into this with too much apprehension (which is pretty admirable, considering what he is going to need to do in order to prepare for it):
“It just felt natural. Our relationship started on TV. All of America got to go along that journey with us so we thought it would be fitting to have the marriage on TV.”
Meanwhile, Catherine took another interesting position, as she told the website that a benefit of doing it this way would be enabling her and her man to have this sort of big event to add to what would later be a series of TV memories to someday show their children (which is going to be somewhat weird since the memory book also contains Sean kissing a ton of other people that are not Catherine):
“I think it’s also fun just to have everything that we have really done together milestone-wise documented. I think it’s cool to look back and show our kids, ‘This is our first look at each other. This is our first kiss. This is when we got married.’ I think it’s just a really cool scrapbook into our relationship together.”
These two are easily on track to be the most-successful couple to come out of “The Bachelor”; while “The Bachelorette” has produced some successful couples, “The Bachelor” has struggled in the marriage department… until now.
