Let’s face it — this season of “The X Factor” is a bit lacking at times when it comes to contestants worth talking about. While Janet Devlin and Craig Colton may be incredible singers, they often don’t take the sort of risks onstage we see from Kitty Brucknell — who has also had to deal with the fact that she’s not anywhere near the most popular contestant on the show.
Ever since the live shows began, Kitty is starting to win both us (and hopefully most of the world over). She brings energy and creativity to her performances, and you can really see that she wants us. This week, she belted out the classic “Live and Let Die” accompanied by fire, a piano, some guitar rifts, and a ponytail that was lifted up four inches above her head.
All in all, it’s hard to argue with the judges here — Kitty is the sort of performer we want to watch every week, mainly because we’re never quite sure what she will do.
