Lindsay Lohan’s first full day of morgue duty — a success?

Will she be okay?

While there may be plenty of people out there interested in seeing Lindsay Lohan fail during her first full day doing community service at the morgue on Friday, it actually seems as though everything went down without a hitch — and Lindsay ended up handling herself just fine.

According to TMZ, Lindsay felt “bad” about showing up late to the morgue on Thursday (where she was ultimately turned away from doing work), so as a way of making up for it she arrived super-early, worked hard, and even tried to buy lunch and cupcakes for everyone in attendance as a way to apologize. (However, the cupcakes ended up getting turned away.)

Ultimately, these moves are coming as a way for the troubled star to try and redeem herself both to Judge Stephanie Sautner and the morgue staff for her first mistake — and she is trying her best to paint a good image of herself before going back to court next month. At the point, she can ultimately be jailed for violating her probation courtesy of some past missed community service appointments.

Do you think any of these gestures matter at this point?
