ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3, episode 6 video: Emily VanCamp and a surprise sell
On Sunday night’s “Revenge” season 3 episode, Emily Thorne is going to be at it again trying to figure out how to take down the Grayson family. However, she is yet again going to realize that there is a roadblock standing in her way … and this one comes from a pretty surprising decision on Conrad’s part.
In the sneak peek video below, you can see the announcement that Conrad intends to actually sell off the Grayson household as a way in which to bring in some more money for the family in some pretty trying times. This is not a move that Emily VanCamp’s character is on board with for a variety of reasons, with the primary one being that this was supposed to be her central hub for all things on the big wedding in a few weeks.
While on the surface Emily’s anger revolves around not having a proper place to get ready for the Big Day, the reality is that it goes far deeper than that. This was her place in which she was really going to knock the Graysons down a peg; she knew the location well and has studied it, and she also had an inside man in Aiden who was willing to try to work everything out. In the video, she and Aiden have a pretty heated discussion about this after Conrad drops the bombshell on her and the other family members over dinner, which leads to the same sort of predictably-angry reaction from Victoria that you would expect. (We don’t know how these people even sit down for dinner together…)
On a more romantic note, Aiden tries to go in for a kiss here, but is quickly rebuked by Emily for a very simple reason: She does not want to risk anything in this particular place, since one false move could disrupt her plan. Whatever her feelings for Aiden may be, her desire to get revenge on the Grayson family far surpasses it.
