Ashton Kutcher creates video about the ‘state of honesty’

Ashton (center) has been busy.

Ashton Kutcher has been one to embrace new media in just about every way — and now, he is using the medium yet again to beat around the bush when it comes to his personal life.

What Kutcher really seems upset about in this new video (which you can see here) is the lack of accountability that is currently abundant in today’s culture. Specifically, he references how in old times integrity was paramount when it came to the way in which information was spread — mainly because the cost of creating such material was so high, and the consumer actually relied on the truth.

Now, as Kutcher explains, times are more than a little bit different:

“The¬†threshold to have contest distributed is [nothing] … we are our own editors and we are our own publishers and we are our own printers. People can [twist] the truth in any shape or form that they want.”

Of course, this entire video comes across as an intelligent attack on those who spread rumors on Ashton’s personal life — in particular his relationship with Demi Moore.

What do you think about the “Two and a Half Men” star’s comments here?
