So much for Lindsay Lohan being free and clear during a “progress report” hearing on Wednesday. The troubled star along with her attorney Shawn Holley were present before Judge Stephanie Sautner, and it’s fair to say that she was not exactly satisfied with how well Lindsay has been performing over the past six months.
First, Sautner blasted both Lindsay and the Probation Department for trying to act like it was no big deal that Lohan was tossed from the Women’s Center she was supposed to be using for community service over missed appointments — saying that she never approved Lindsay to do work at the Red Cross and those hours would not count. In addition, she also did not like the fact that it took Lindsay six months to finish a 12-hour shoplifting course — and there was also some doubt about whether or not she actually did her court-mandated therapy sessions once a week as required.
Due to all of this, Sautner revoked Lindsay’s probation and had her put in handcuffs. Her bail bondman has already arrived to post bail, and she will remain a free woman until a court hearing on November 2. It is at this time she will receive a sentence, and she could be handed a year and a half in jail (though that is unlikely, thanks in part to overcrowding).
Do you think this is a fair decision by the judge?
