Mrs. Carter: Jason Sudeikis really is moving forward with his life!
Only a matter of a few short months after he confirmed his departure of “Saturday Night Live,” and less than a year after their engagement was confirmed, Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde are now officially expecting their first child together. This news was certainly the surprise of the weekend, as there was not really any indication coming from anyone that we were getting close to a baby reveal for this couple. This news was first confirmed by People Magazine, whose source also went on to say that they could not be happier about it:
“They are incredibly happy. They’re very excited to welcome a new member into their family.”
Wilde is probably still best known to TV fans for playing the role of Thirteen on “House,” though she by and large left the show near the end of its run in order to pursue some other opportunities in movies. She has had quite an interesting personal history, though, including marrying her first husband Tao Ruspoli on a school bus when she was only 19 years old. (The two separated in 2011, and the divorce proceedings took place later this year.)
Sudeikis is now hoping to depart from TV for at least a while after paying his dues and spending many years as a member of the “SNL” cast. We do hope that he is going to be interested in at least taking a hosting gig on a future installment of “SNL”. We have also seen a number of other former actor returning to the show, including Andy Samberg who is now on board Fox’s brilliant new “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.” We’ll have to see what the future holds for these two professionally, but at least for the time being we know that there is a baby in store which is more then enough to fill their plate.
