Before we get into Susan Boyle’s performance on “Strictly Come Dancing” (otherwise known as the show that spawned “Dancing with the Stars” to people in America) over the weekend, we have a brief programming note — due to some breaking news, it appears that Susan’s interview on “The Today Show” has been pushed, and will air Tuesday. (Susan’s Facebook page initially announced that it would be coming Monday.)
Now, we turn to Susan’s performance. Much like on the American version of “Dancing” this past week, Susan performed her version of “Unchained Melody” — though this one in Britain may be the better performance overall. The studio felt much more intimate this time around, and Susan even hit a few higher notes than what she did in Los Angeles.
All of this is of course preparation for Susan’s upcoming album “Someone to Watch Over Me,” which is set to debut in stores on November 1 in North America.
What do you think about this performance?
