Susan Boyle has a new album coming out on November 1 in “Someone to Watch Over Me” — and it turns out that the title of this album means more than just one of the songs on the disc.
Speaking in a new (and rather fascinating) interview with The Sun, Boyle explains that the title is in many ways a love letter to the Mr. Right she hasn’t met just yet:
“It’s about that special person I would love to meet, that longing for that person to come along.
“When he does, he’ll be that person to watch over me and I will watch over him. You need someone to watch over you and I haven’t had that since my mother died.”
Boyle also says that she still enjoys the “pizzazz” that comes with being a recording star, and that the overall experience has made her a bit more sociable. However, it has not taken her far from her roots — despite buying a new home last year, she still lives in the same residence she did before “Britian’s Got Talent” in her Scottish village. She also seems to have far fewer demands than many other big entertainers — tea, cheese, and crackers are the primary things desired on her rider.
Are you excited to see more press from Susan soon?
