Adam Lambert notes: airplay and campaigns

Although we are a little bit later than usual this week with the Adam Lambert airplay update, there is some rather good news to share — once again, “Whataya Want From Me” has bounced back over the 1,700 spin mark (per the new numbers from USA Today).

It’s really been months since we have actually seen any sort of decline in Adam’s airplay at all on the American charts, and this bodes well for his staying power — in particular since it is now looking like it will be November before his new single hits the airwaves. Considering this level of consistency, he certainly has quite the luxury here in taking his time.

Other news

Tuesday marked National Coming Out Day, and Adam chose to help honor the occasion by posting a link on Twitter to an organization showcasing all sorts of shocking facts about homosexuality today — including that in 29 states gay and lesbian individuals could be fired simply because of their orientation. (There’s some pretty surprising information here, and it is a worthwhile read.)
