Mrs. Carter: Did “The Bachelor” franchise find love in a very different way for a pair of former contestants?
In what may be a sign now that you really don’t need “Bachelor Pad” in order for there to be people related to this show hooking up, we now have the news coming out this week via Us Weekly that AshLee Frazier, the third-place finisher in Sean Lowe’s season, is dating recent “Bachelorette” castoff of Desiree Hartsock in Michael Garofola. While AshLee is probably the most famous for accusing Sean of lying to her during the “Women Tell All” special early this year, Michael was perhaps best known simply for the way that he and Ben Scott went at it during the dreaded two-on-one date this past season. In the end he survived that, but was eliminated in fifth place.
These two have confirmed their relationship, but for the most part, right now it is just reserved for a series of posts on social media. This is also not the first time that AshLee has been seen out on dates with someone else from the franchise, as she briefly was linked to former “Bachelor” and near-official recluse of the series in Brad Womack, who is really the last person that you can ever accuse of using this series for fame.
This news comes out at around the same time that Sean and Catherine Giudici revealed that no only are they planning to get married in January, but they will do so for a special to air live on ABC. This means that you will get a chance to see everyone crying exactly as it happens, and if someone’s drunk uncle (or perhaps Bobby Moynihan’s Drunk Uncle from “Saturday Night Live”) decides to make a scene, they will be doing it for all to see.
What do you think about the idea of this relationship? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! We’ll have more soon on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of the show, which is currently in production and will air on ABC comedy Monday, January 6. The producers this year have chosen to keep almost everything related to it under heavy lock and key so for once we might actually be spoiler free.
