While I welcome the fact that you didn't pick one label for Mulan (equating behavior with sexual identity is such a harmful thing to do), I'm sad that you attacked LGBTQ* fans for criticizing Adam Horowitz. He's been such a heterosexist douche on twitter (he called gays "fairies"!), and the Mulan story has not only been not a real story, that one five seconds scene was also a game of lesbian trope bingo. I've been identifying with Mulan since the late 90's and I'm overjoyed that they decided not take her away from us. At the same time, though, it's very unfortunate that the point of our story remains not to fall or to be in love, but to struggle (and maybe get a 3 second happy ending, or maybe not). The point of our story is to fight through rejection. That's not the story OUaT tells straight folks. They get actual stories. They get The Charmings, too. And it's not a story that LGBTQ* people need to see.... again. Don't even come at me with "realistic". Tragedy and rejection are only a reality because straight people actively choose not to let us be happy.

I hate this change! It is not that kind of show, at least it is not supposed to be in my opinion. If you recall Disney movie, Mulan was not an LGBT character, she was in love with her general! It is not twisting an original story, but completely changing the style of the show. I do not have anything against gay community, but this is not the show to have such characters. Therefore, i hope that this is the end of this, and that Mulan will fall in love with Robin Hood, or something like that.
