Whenever a story involving Justin Bieber happens to appear online, it somehow ends up getting twisted so far out of control that the final version of the story is far and away different from what we originally saw.
If you want some prime evidence of this, all you have to do is check out the rumor mill pertaining to Justin supposedly joining a production of “Les Miserables” in Canada. A number of other young singers (including Nick Jonas) have shifted gears into the theater world at times during their careers — but this is not any sort of guarantee that Justin will join him.
The source of this rumor is courtesy of an interview Cameron Mackintosh gave to the Toronto Star, where he said that Justin would be welcome to take part in the show — but did not even say the 17-year old was actually interested:
“I would love to hear Justin Bieber sing ‘Empty Chairs at Empty Tables.’ Please spread the word that he’d be more than welcome in the show.”
Justin has actually not said anything about getting involved in theater, and it’s hard to see him even having the time to do so — he is currently on tour in Brazil, and after that he will be everywhere promoting his upcoming Christmas album “Under the Mistletoe.” He also is set to release a new studio album in 2012.
