At this point, just about every reality show on the planet has featured Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” in some way or another — so with that in mind, it’s hard to really see many renditions that excite us anymore. Luckily, Misha B did just that on “The X Factor” Saturday night.
Misha came into the performance a bit out of spotlight courtesy of such people as Janet Devlin and Frankie Cocozza. However, by the end of the show just about everyone is talking about her. Not only did she sing the hit almost flawlessly, but she put an element of hip-hop in there that certainly brought to mind Nicki Minaj.
On last season of the show, Cher Lloyd proved that hip-hop and pop can be molded together perfectly on reality TV — and Misha may very well be taking that to the next level. The show’s “twist” is that the judges have to each send home one member of their team during Sunday’s result, but expect to see Misha around for quite a while.
