How about the great five (count ’em, five!) jokes during the news about Bruce Jenner’s divorce? It was a great idea, to have the anchors start the same story five times, with five different punch lines. And, the punch lines all had me laughing out loud. The “24-Hour Energy for Dating Actresses” was the highlight, though.

On our local affiliate in Nashville, right before SNL news, the broadcast stopped and all of a sudden, there was a rerun of an older episode of SNL news from lady season? Not sure what happened…after about 2-3 minutes, the current episode appeared halfway through.
Any conspiracy theories out there?

Wow, I appreciate the timely post, but next time proofread your article before hitting send. Grammar!

A lot of these sketches could have been funnier had Willis not been mumbling his lines, giggling or ruining the jokes by screwing up the timing. He seemed more like a dude who won a contest to be on SNL than an accomplished actor. It felt unrehearsed. I also get annoyed when a sketch is only a quick joke and then we’re watching commercials again. Don’t ask me why but for the past year and a half, I have been finding Keenan to be downright hilarious. It’s the only saving grace sometimes when you have a subpar and rookie cast members: Like it or not Keenan is now a veteran and will only get funnier.

The only time I laughed during the 1st half is when I saw the ridiculous costumes for Katy’s band & embarrassingly awful ones on the back-up singers who do all the heavy lifting by the way. Come on SNL, are decent hosts and writers that rare to find in New York or worldwide for that matter?!? Put up or just shut up cause’ as an original fan, I’m giving up.
