Mrs. Carter: Happily engaged? You better believe it.
Even though Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici may have gotten engaged close to a year ago while filming “The Bachelor,” the two waited for quite a while before throwing themselves an engagement party. What’s the reason for that? It’s probably that they wanted to get used to having a normal life before getting ahead of themselves. For much of the spring after the show, they had “Dancing with the Stars” to contend with. While this is something that helped secure the couple financially it at the same time also caused Sean to spend way more time learning how to tango than being at home cultivating his relationship with his woman.
Sean and Catherine’s relationship has settled down over the summer, with the two doing some intermittent traveling while resting and getting used to what is going to be their everyday life. Even with this, there really hasn’t been that much talk as of late about a wedding. While ABC would surely love to capture it all and make ratings / money off of it, there’s still no confirmation that this is what the couple will do. The first thing that they have to figure out is when they are going to set a date for the occasion, and then after that, they will then figure out all of the finer details like if they are going to televise it or not.
At this point, though, Sean and Catherine are already one of the more-successful couples in the history of “The Bachelor.” This show has long paled in comparison to “The Bachelorette” when it comes to pairs that actually stay together; as a matter of fact, no former male star is currently married to the woman he picked on the show. Sean will hopefully be the first to break this curse.
