‘American Idol’ contestant Bucky Covington has officially signed with a new label, eOne Music and he is planning to release his next single and album in 2012.
Recently Bucky was talking about why he moved to eOne Music, saying that his old label, Lyric Street, went under and when he got his material back from Disney, he didn’t want to release it until he re-recorded some of the tracks he was not happy with. Bucky explains; “There was a handful of the album that I was not real happy with. I was not feeling comfortable putting ‘Bucky Covington’ on the album, because they weren’t necessarily my picks. They were good songs, no doubt about it, but I had other songs for me.”
Bucky has gone back into the studio with music producers Mark Miller and Dale Oliver to work on some new tracks. He said; “I am absolutely thrilled with the album that is now coming out, head over heels. It’s Bucky Covington through and through.”
Covington has a new single coming up called ‘Wanna Be That Feeling’ and it is due to come out around Christmas.
